NatsFilms Photography & Videography terms and conditions

Event photography/pideography terms and conditions:

 

For this document “NatsFilms” represents “NatsFilms Photography & Videography.”

 

Payment / Delivery and Booking

 

A 25% deposit is required to secure bookings with NatsFilms. The full balance is required 5 days before the event/ shoot.

If the Client has opted for videography for their full set, please note photography is not possible as an additional Item unless an additional photographer is requested, this will be stated on your invoice. The client will receive the full edited video through an online site, the video(s) will be available for download for a minimum of 30 Days.

 

If the client has chosen "reels" or "vertical" as their video format they will receive a varied amount of short form videos (generally 40 seconds) in a "vertical" aspect ratio (9:16). These videos will be available via online download.

 

Delivery times vary depending on the complexity and size of the project but expect to see completed drafts within the first 28 days. Most Live concert photography or videography is delivered within the week but this depends on volume of bookings.

 

The client is responsible for ensuring entry for NatsFilms and any crew associated with NatsFilms. You will be notified if additional crew are necessary. If it is a live concert please put "Nat Scott" on the guest list as a Photographer/ Videographer. NatsFilms cannot be held responsible for lack of footage if NatsFilms cannot gain entry to the venue or shooting location.

 

Pre-Production

 

Exact length of final product is generally not something NatsFilms will always agree on as certain factors may effect this. If there are certain requirements for resolution, dimensions, aspect ratio, B&W/colour photos or video, number of photos delivered ect. These requirements must be discussed and agreed upon in writing.

 

The consultation (Client may not recieve one without confirming a booking at least one week before the event), via telephone call or in person, is the clients opportunity to best describe their expectations from our services. The client must understand that the service NatsFilms provide is creative and therefore the outcomes from their services can vary from client to client. NatsFilms try their best to interpret each clients vision though NatsFilms and all associated artists produce work of a certain style so the clients expectations may not always match the result NatsFilms delivers.

 

Production

 

NatsFilms will choose the crew and equipment necessary to deliver their services, if there is something specific required (e.g Drone Footage) by the client this will effect pricing and these requirements must be discussed and agreed upon in writing.

 

NatsFilms reserves the right to refuse services without notice or refund if they feel the requests of the client or the environment endanger their equipment or staff.

 

NatsFilms equipment can be heavy and may produce potential hazards while on set. NatsFilms crew have the experience to properly and safely set up the equipment, any persons who choose to move around the equipment or interact with our equipment do so at their own risk.

 

Any expenses not travel/ food related which are a direct result from the production will be added to the bill. For example this may be an entry fee for the venue the production is held at.

 

If NatsFilms is required to interact with the public to conduct interviews for example, Natsfilms is not responsible for the publics engagement (or lack of engagement) and cannot gaunrantee usable content. NatsFilms will gain basic verbal consent from interview participants but is not responsible if their usage consent changes.

 

Client is responsible for gaining consent/ release forms from any participating members of the production. E.G venue or performers.

 

Post Production

 

The client is allowed one edit revision (Per Package) so it is important the client goes into detail on changes they wish to see (Please indicate the changes all at once as you only get one chance to change things, this goes for all of the videos and not one re-edit per video). If these changes are outside of original agreement or more than one revision is required additional fees may apply which the client will be notified of before these changes take place. (You must request the revision within 21 days upon receiving the video file(s)).

 

There are no edit revisions for photography.

 

NatsFilms is the legal owner of all video footage and photography produced. The client is has the right to distribute and display photographs / video delivered by

NatsFilms as long as the date of their production matches the booking date on clients receipt (Changes in date apply also through an email confirmation). The client must not claim that NatsFilms photography or video(s) are works of the client. NatsFilms asks the client to credit where possible when distributing work by NatsFilms.

 

Client consents to the use of digital material produced NatsFilms services to be displayed on NatsFilms social media (NatsFilms Photography and Videography) or website for promotional and portfolio purposes.

 

NatsFilms take pride in their work and spend time to deliver the best possible service to our clients in every scenario and client satisfaction is a high priority though NatsFilms are not obligated to re-shoot, re-edit or refund if the client is displeased with the final product but may consider it in some cases.

 

The client will receive the completed videos in a 9:16 / 16:9 / 21:9 aspect ratio as 1080p MP4 Files via online download (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing).

 

Once the product has been delivered NatsFilms is not responsible for loss of footage after the delivery. NatsFilms will provide downloadable files online for a minimum of 30 days after initial delivery and are not obligated to but may store completed videos and footage for up to 2 years after the event. Requests for footage/ files after the 30 day delivery window may result in additional fees.

 

NatsFilms will provide a basic audio recording for events which require it permitting the venue allows for it. It is the clients responsibility to organise their own high quality audio recording if they have any specific requirements or need stems ect to mix their own tracks for musicians ect.

 

If the client has booked digital photography as part of the service the client also understands NatsFilms do not deliver a specific number of digital photographs as their goal is to deliver quality photographs over a specific amount.

 

NatsFilms will not deliver raw / unedited photos or videos, please do not request this. In the rare scenario of NatsFilms delivering raw footage to the client, this footage will have minor colour adjustments and be selected for the clients use but may not be the complete orginal file.
